cedros
This week's Guadalajara Reporter has an interesting article on La Pueblita at Tres Cañadas. They are starting to build a large assisted living facility. https://translate.google.com.mx/translate?hl=en&sl=es&u=http://www.axopolis.com/otros-temas/empresas-y-negocios/19230-invierten-500-mdp-en-la-pueblita-el-primer-centro-integral-para-el-retiro-en-mexico.html&prev=search

puro guero
La Pueblita has been on-again off-again for the last 5 years. Here's a prior thread that that provides alittle history.
cedros
Thanks for posting that puro guero as I don't remember that. Typical that these things are announced with great flourish but nothing happens. Have you seen the large sign just west of Piedra Barrenada for the construction of a 14 story condo block? zerbit
Northstar is an operator, not a money partner in development. They just run places after they are built. Is this latest promo just another method of raising funds?
RickS
The Northstar website says that they manage one site in Mexico in Rosarito Baja, and they also ‘show’ the Ajijic site. Time will tell if this thing gets off the ground and actually opens as a viable business..... or not again.
Islander
It would be a useful and needed project in the area and I like the location as well. Hopefully not a high-rise. But as so many others, it will never happen.
