Al Berca Posted October 5, 2017 Report Share Posted October 5, 2017 Is it still allowed to take your own container and drive into the berry fields in Joco looking for the packing table of that day and buy "seconds" at extremely low prices direct from the pickers as they pack the perfect ones for Driscoll shipments? RickS Posted October 6, 2017 Report Share Posted October 6, 2017 Several years ago we could not do that any more but could park on the side of the road and walk to a close-by ‘shed’. I don’t know if one can even do that now. But there are so many more fields these days so can’t be for sure about anyone letting us do what we used to do... drive out into the fields.
