Marlayne
I will be purchasing in San Antonio Tlayacapan. I would sincerely appreciate the name and contact number of someone all of you would consider a great home inspector. This will be for a condo. Its a big move for me. I am coming from Pennsylvania and I just want to make sure everything is up to snuff and no surprises. I have been following your conversations for a while now. You have been so valuable and helpful to me. Thanks to everyone!
rvanparys
Whoever is chosen, try to be present during the inspection... Our inspector found some small items and missed the big one...

No matter who you choose, be aware that there are no disclosure documents required in Mexico as they are in the U.S., and there is no recourse if you find problems after the escrow closes. mkshawn
Always best to question the "Inspector" on any on going, past, present or future conflicts of interest that they may have with the contractor, the developer or the architect. Listen carefully for any nuance that may require further investigation.
