I consider it putting out needed information.  Many of us are here for the long haul and although we don't yet need assisted living, it is good to know that some places here are well run,  reasonably priced and pleasant enough to contemplate...should we need them.  I'd like to see some pictures from the competitors, too.

lakesidecare.com remember you asked. Also gringal I hope you don't need these services for a long time. I enjoy your posts.

I know and can provide people that have moved here to be near their Mom or Dad in our facility. So I think good for the Realtors.

I hope I don't need it either.  My family was lucky enough to live long, but my mom entered assisted living after a stroke  left her physically weakened and my dad had died several years before her. Her care home was church affiliated.  When I visited, I didn't get a "happy" impression.  Sounds like the Mexican facilities are better for the residents.

Here I go again  Also where would the moderator move it to? I couldn't see a topic other than here where it would go.

I guess it is being left because of the interesting nature of the post. I  greatly enjoyed reading what was written and several of the pictures that I have seen here and on other web sites. I hope they allow it to remain here for at least a while before moving it to where-ever :)
