ManxMan
Hit a pothole and need a new tire. Anyone have a recommendation for a tire shop around Ajijic or San Antonio?
Mainecoons
Have had great results with the tire shop up on the libremiento, also the Goodyear towards the north end of Chapala on Chapala highway.
El Cartero
If you have a car with a tire monitoring system I would, and do, go to Guadalajara. For a normal car I like the guy located in La Huerta plaza just west of Pacifico fish store. The guy in Chapala just south of Soriana has always been reliable and had good prices. Lakesider
For quick fix, I go to Antonio, the Llantera guy next to Mini Super La Huerta Vinos y Licores just before Calle Flores /Don Pedro Restaurant on the carretera in West Ajijic. Reasonable price.
Al Berca
Check the manufacturing date on the tire and make sure it hasn't been stored in full sun each day, if possible.
geeser
The tires are fresh dated at the big tire store on the left going in to Jocotepec. Last I bought he also had the best prices.
ComputerGuy
I can't imagine any of the tire shops around here having stale-dated inventory. Even the smallest of llanteras lakeside goes through tons of them. Perhaps if you were trying to buy a retread, although I don't see that offered anywhere.
