jrm30655
I got an email this morning saying that there was suspicious activity on my BoA account and that I'd have to change my password to access my account. It all looked good but there is a problem. I don't have a BoA account, never have had one. You all be careful out there.............

michael2595
I get these all the time even from banks I have no accounts with. Tom Gates is 100% correct. The only email you would get is when you set up your account for specific notifications as in notification by email if checking account is below a certain amount. However, it never has a link to open or requests a response. Whatever the subject, it directs you to log into your account and check for any message, etc. Also, if a questionable transaction is spotted they will email and ask you to call. Financial firms do email their clients.
