Lakesider
My young ahijado's (godchild) father had an accident in a construction site. He broke his knee from a bad fall and underwent knee surgery recently and now he needs a pair of crutches. If anyone out there will be kind enough to sell or donate or rent their used pair of crutches it will be well appreciated. I am in Canada right now and I just received this news from the wife today. Please PM me so I can coordinate with you and the family in need. Thanks.
bmh
If you are looking to buy some they sell them in the medical supply store on the carretera They are not expensive. I am not in town or I could lend you the ones I have but I am not there..
CHILLIN
We have a brand new pair, never used, purchased three weeks ago for 500 pesos. They are for 5 foot 10 inch and above. Too tall for Ms. Chillin. Turns out, that contrary to Cruz Roja, she did not need a cast at all, because a non-load bearing bone was fractured. edit: Ms Chillin reminds me that the bottom of the crutches could be hacksawed off to accomodate lower heights.
