Gilligan Posted June 25, 2017 Author Report Share Posted June 25, 2017 The protest is a native indian thing related to the government taking / buying the land the airport sits on and the natives want more money. I'm sure there is a lot more to it, but I don't know all the details and it's a long story. But, every now and again they protest and end up blocking access / slowing access to the airport.
