Looking for Rosetta Stone

Thanks. I tried Duolingo but it was too much typing and I prefer to do language acquisition the native way. I had some classes years ago in high school and worked with a lot of Spanish speakers in my career. Duolingo is too much repetition for me at this stage. The guy at the tianguis, Taylor, who was mentioned in a book has not been there and I was wondering if anyone else knew of a source.
