jrod
It's called Teocintle Maiz (in small type on the tag on the original post) and it's on Constitución 52. It is quite good. Lunch offers a choice of three "chalkboard" entrees of the day; dinner has an extensive menu. https://www.google.com.mx/search?q=teocintle+ajijic&oq=Teocintle+&aqs=chrome.1.69i57j0l5.4751j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-
Travis
My selfish greedy side was hoping nobody would ever mention this place (so I could get a table more easily).
suegarn
First, it's not 'new', it's been there for several months. Second, Gloria and Ricardo (the owners aka as the chef and wait staff), are amazing! They are open every day except Sunday and Monday. Hours are 11:30-3 pm and 6-9 pm, according to their Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/maizteocintle/

Xena
Yes. It is wonderful and amazing, delicious and just a great experience. Went there at 12:30. There was a couple at one table. Two guys came in while we were there. I think they get busy later.
