rvanparys
We have a gate opener that is now inoperative... Is there any place locally that does repair or replacement??
Lexy
That happened to me recently. I was told on this forum it might just be the battery. Take it to Seren's to check it out. Replaced battery, and all was fine. Lexy
rvanparys
Unfortunately, it is not the battery since I replaced it when it quit working...

rvanparys
Problem is with one of the micro switches... The controller has four and the one that controls the gate is inop...Someone good at micro soldering could replace the inop switch with one of the others.. or reprogram one of the others if that is possible.... Any other ideas??

kbleitch
We have used both Antonio and Esteban. We much prefer Esteban as we feel his charges are much more reasonable.

mudgirl
I have found that small electronics often stop functioning because of moisture. My DVD remote, for instance, stopped working. I took a smallish Tupperware container with tight-fitting lid, put a small container of those moisture-absorbing beads in it, and keep all my small electronic devices in it when not in use. The remote functioned perfectly again after one night in the box. Not saying this is the problem with yours, but worth a try.
