making an appointment at Laredo consulate

Recommended Posts

I would not do that.. I would talk to the person that handles the visa's and explain to them how far you have to travel. Ask them if you can email them all your paper work for pre approval, that way if there is any issues you can take care of them before driving to Laredo.

That is what I did, but not in Laredo. Scanned all the documents, emailed them to the consulate, 3 days later they sent me an email stating that everything was OK and an appointment for the following week. I was in and out of the consulate in less than 2 hours.
