RandyW
I heard that permanent residents are not allowed out of Mexico for more than 3 months within each year. Is this true? I would be getting permanent status about 4 years from now, but somewhere in the 5 to 7 year range plan to take a 6 month voyage. Any suggestions? Xena
That is not true. There is no limit on travel.
mudgirl
If you are intending to apply for Mexican citizenship at some point in the future, there are some requirements as to how long you have to have been in the country over the previous few years, but as Xena said, no problem with traveling for whatever length of time on permanente. WideSky
At THIS time no restrictions, however you are referring to an event 5-7 YEARS out, so perhaps ask the question again at that time.
