dichosalocura
It is raining and thundering in Chapala. It almost never rains in March. What does that mean for our summer rainy season?

johanson
Take a look at the local weather station webpage at http://chapalaweather.net/ And look at the rainfall chart part way down the link. You will be that usually by this time, we have had more rain than we have had this year. I sure do like a little rain. Just not every day

JayBearII
Yes, sometimes we have big hail--I remember a couple of years back, the hail was big enough that I was concerned it might break a skylight, altho it didn't. Sounded pretty impressive hitting those skylights, tho! And I remember it accumulated on the lawn.
dichosalocura
We also had hail in Chapala. My neighborhood also experienced about an hour long brown out.

ComputerGuy
Absolutely poured in Chula Vista, with two waves of hail. But power didn't go out until hours later, and was still off this morning. We heard the transformer explode just before 10.
giltner68
You want hail? - last night in Dallas
elisabeth
Giltner - yes - Atlanta had a whopper wind rain and hail storm last Tuesday night. It took 30 hours for our power to be restored. So you don't wait for service only in Mexco (truly it was an extraordinary storm and I am sure they had trouble scheduling crews to work through 2sucessive nights).
