HoneyBee
Hi, Last week, I had a Zirconia dental crown fitted. The next morning, I was flossing my teeth and it fell out. I paid 10,500.00 for it and was wondering if this was just bad dental work. I have not bothered to return to this dentist as amongst other matters, each time I have to sign a waiver... HoneyBee
Hi ibbocat, Maybe my English is not so good. I was not complaining to "us" but rather wondering if this is a common problem with crowns made from this so called Zirconia material.
sm1mex
I have a friend that has a zirconia bridge and crown made by Dr. Candy months ago and no problem. I have gone to her for many things and have never had to sign a waiver . ???
HoneyBee
Thanks sm1mex. I will make an appointment with Dr. Candy and keep my fingers crossed that she can salvage the existing crown.

sm1mex
She is reasonable and guarantees her work. She has built a great reputation here. She is located just west of HSBC and the sushi place across from WalMart. She goes to continuing education every year over seas. She has been to S. Korea, Italy and this year she is going to education in China. She leaves April 4 so see her soon.
Mainecoons
Dr. Eloy Barrigan did a great job for my wife for just a little more than was cited here.

lakeside7
Can anyone please tell me what "Zirconia" advantages are over other "regular" treatments?
sm1mex
Zirconia crowns don't break so I have been told.
bezerk
why do you have to sign a waiver???
RVGRINGO
The crown has probably just come unglued & can be cemented back in place. Unless, or course, it has not been chewed upon or swallowed.......and not recovered !
