thevalerieleigh
It's that time again! Normally I buy from Rick and Heidi but they aren't making and selling their GREAT Corned Beef any longer. Does anyone know where I can find some locally or in GDL? Having a fun party and need to have enough to cook for 14 hungry "Irishmen/women". Thanks, in advance, if anyone knows where I can find it. bournemouth
They sold the corned beef business to Cydney, who has a lunch place on Galeana - all this info comes from posts on Chapala.com from last year. Her cell number, according to posts, is 331-760-2388.
LaChula2
Not Galeana, but Encarnacion Rosa, down a short block from the Farmacia Gdl and then a long block and her place is on the east side, a few spaces above Constitucion.

tomgates
Costco sells a 2# package of Corned Beef for about $200p. There are two 1# portions.
thevalerieleigh
Thanks Tom, which Costco did you see this in and was it recent? Did it appear to be seasoned and ready to pop into the oven? Many thanks! Val
Fred Habacht
Costco is pre-sliced; bland, pre-cooked and tastes like roast beef
ComputerGuy
Agreed. In fact, all their attempts at smoked meats are odd, like pastrami.
barcelonaman
Superlake sells it. Pre packed next to frozen foods. But its sliced not in tins like the real stuff.
