suegarn
I second Alex's Pasta Bar! Excellent food, great wine! Alex has been a chef for over 60 years, and he's trained his staff well. The pasta is made fresh every day. He imported his pasta-making machines right from Italy!

It's not the machine that makes the difference: it's the ingredients in the pasta. Note the difference in the labels of real Italian pasta and the Mexican pasta re the flour used. Big difference. Lakesider
Pasta Trenta's Spaghetti is good too....but their other pasta dishes' meat or seafood ingredients are quite meager...in my honest opinion.
gringal
The huge plate of "enhanced" spaghetti served at Cocinart is my favorite, and a great value. His sauce is just right.
