gringal
It is not a secret that legislation is driven by special interests, is it? The above information about the corn and the results are saddening, but not surprising. Solution, harsh though it may sound, is doing away with lobbyists making a fat living from serving huge corporations. Lobbying Congress was not originally meant for that purpose, but has become one of the largest alligators in the swamp and we are all living with the results, from the corn issue to big pharma. I have a feeling that some more change (lobby rules) may well be in the works. Just another part of the swamp that needs draining.
