catbird
MY Telecable goes out several times a day, everyday! Very unreliable but what cay you do? It keeps disconnecting then you have to wait 5 or 10 minutes for it to reconnect. Very aggravating.
Mainecoons
We dumped it a year ago after it was apparent that it wasn't going to get any better after the buyout. Unfortunately, our local wasn't bought out by Megacable, the GDL provider, who seems to have very decent service and programming.
catbird
I asked Telcel what they could give me and the lady said the best I could expect was 1.5 mb. down.

ComputerGuy
Depends where you are. Ch. Haciendas and Brisas de Chapala, as is being discussed in other current threads, are very low, in the area of 1.5 and less. Most other places are doing better. ComputerGuy
Depends if you are using TelMex or Telecable. TelMex: call Mexico City toll free 01-800-123-2222, after checking your modem and resetting it.
