gfresh
A star in my windshield has started a running crack. The resin repair two years ago was working but no more. So I'll looking for a shop for replacement. Any recommendations? TIA Gary

canmex87
I had an insurance claim for a windshield replacement and they used Car Glass Mexico. They came to my house and replaced the windshield. Here is their website. https://www.carglass.es/

mudgirl
Once, when I needed a new windshield, a friend of mine advised that I put a hose on it after the replacement and before leaving the repair shop. It leaked like a sieve, and this was in Canada! So I pass on the advice. Also, I got a new windshield in Mexico just before driving north. The second day on the road a truck kicked up a pebble, which made a ding that instantly started to crack. When I got to my friends' place in Northern California, my friend said, oh my buddy has a windshield shop just down the road, I think he can resin it so it doesn't get worse. When we took it there, buddy said the crack was already too far gone, then looked at the brand name on the bottom corner of the windshield and laughed. Said oh, it's a ------, those are made in Bulgaria, no wonder it broke with the first little ding.

ComputerGuy
Is he in the shop on your left, not far down from Soriana, after you've turned onto Pepe Guizar from Madero?
R2D2
Junior has contracts with insurance companies and the replacement , it is covered by insurance, I believe you only pay 20% of the total.
