Reiki
Good Day, Does anyone know what license is needed to provide therapy in your own private practice in Mexico? I am a social worker (MSW) who may be transitioning down to Mexico. I know the requirement in the states but not in Mexico. I have someone to handle all legal/working concerns. So any help or guidance on licensure would be great.
RVGRINGO
If you sell a service and are paid, you will need a business license, an accountant, a couputer to issue facturas, and definitely a residence visa with permission from Immigration to work at your location, etc., etc. Check with Spencer (Intercasa) for legal details and assistance at Chapala Law. lcscats
Professional licenses many times require working for the government for a period of time before you can work on your own. Many folks don't do this and don't have the right paperwork to work but still do. Its more than a work permit enabled permanent Visa for licensed jobs as a rule. Please get legal help.
