mkshawn
Does anyone have any experience with local waterproofing compounds by Fester &/or Castor. Application is mostly horizontal with perimeter verticals of small dimensions. The waterproofing compound will be layered over flat clay tile with membrane material cut to fit with generous overlaps at all seams. Then a top coating to saturate the membrane. Thanks in advance
Michael Turner
We had Castor 5 Year applied a few years ago and used the same product to successfully fix a few cracks ourselves in the following years. Great product.

sparks
We did a thin cement wash over the tiles and then Impermeabilizante. Material only used in corners and vent pipes. Used a no-name 7 year Impermeabilizante and no leaks for over 4 years .... even with lots of foot traffic
phil in mexico
Most of the major brands do a pretty good job the real work is before applying, the substrate needs to clean and free of loose paint or concrete, cracks need to be repaired ,I like to use polyester inbeded into fresh impermeable product that's my 2 centavos !!!
