mexjerry
Yes, I have Netflix streaming. Smart TV, Vizio, this was purchased in Phoenix. There are SOME doubters, here, that I am getting USA Netflix, without the use of a VPN, but as of last night, there was NOT a problem. Again, NO VPN, USA purchased Vizio tv, from the tv, select Netflix, and enjoy!
RVGRINGO
You can try setting your TV to a different country. It will change some of what you are offered via the wifi capabilities of a smart TV. Our bedroom TV still thinks it is in Mexico and has a completely different set of available applications from those offered on our living room TV, which is set for USA. Lexy
OMG, how am I going to master this? It's my new TV that's Smart. Not me. Lexy
ComputerGuy
The only way anyone is going to get U.S. Netflix here, without standing on their head and going through technical hell, is if the set is bought in the US. Changing the country settings, unfortunately, will not work. Some people seem to be "grandfathered in", though.
WA4KDC
Never forget: "Smart" TV's watch YOU! (But you can turn that off, IF you can find it in the options, they don't make it easy to find.)
ComputerGuy
That's a well-contested topic, but basically it would have to be a Smart TV that takes voice commands and/or uses a camera to capture motion.
