chartiec
Where in Chapala do you take your paperwork?
Floradude
You don't. Unless something has changed for the past couple of years you have to go to Guadalajara.
tomgates
NW corner of the intersection of Lazaro Cardenas and 7th de Julio. You can pay there and get the renewal there. Underground parking too. Just the usual paperwork: Immigration card + copy, passport + copy, utility bill that shows your name and within 90 days and copy of Curp. Plus your old license. MtnMama
Or go with Juan from Lakeside Personal Assistant. He will drive, help with any glitches, translate if needed and provide a pleasant restful trip. http://www.chapala-pa.com/day-trips

It was worth $800 pesos to have him drive, park and take us to the head of the line to take the test. We were in and out within 1 hour! If you have a license from anywhere else- even expired they will waive the driving test.
