Ferret
A TENS unit for electrical muscle stimulation. "Tens stands for Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation. A tens unit is essentially a stimulation device consisting of electrodes that are attached to the skin, the unit itself, and a battery to provide current. A Tens unit uses electricity to block nerves from sending pain messages." I would either ask Dr. Lastra to ask his wife who uses a unit in her therapy OR ask Lydia at Lakeside Medical Supply. Arjay
You can get them on Amazon.com and some on Amazon.com.mx Delivery generally only takes a week or so. Good luck - I have one down here but I brought it from Toronto.
terrysig
I know strange first post and I'll introduce myself later but i use a pocket sized tens unit for knee pain. I swear by it for short term relieve. Not sure about Chapala but NOB it used to take a prescription but you can get them now on Amazon and Ebay. I recently saw something advertised on TV by possibly the icy/hot company ??? that looked similar. Bottom-line you should be able to find it if not in MX then certainly online. jrm30655
I'd try Amazon Mexico. Mexico is funny about medical equipment coming across the border
