geeser
Has anyone been successful at trying to pay CFE online with a credit card? I tried it last cycle with both a US and a Mexican credit card and though it seemed to go through it never changed balance or or showed a credit. Tomas
I have not paid by credit card BUT we pay them more than a year in advance, (based on our normal billing), and replenish the accounts with CFE on an annual basis..Never an issue other than they fail to show our credit balance on our bi-monthly bills..I keep a running total on my own and they are RIGHT on.. chapala45900
This works for us too, as if no bill comes we would have to go to their machine to pay. No bil, no payment can be made at WM. Oxxo etc. It is so much easier this way and they, so far have been accurate. Telmex does a good job this way as well, and it simplifies things for us. cedros
Others have reported that they cannot pay with a foreign credit card so I've never tried. No use giving them my CC information if it doesn't work.
John Shrall
I've been paying CFE bills for years using a Bancomer credit card both through their web site and their Switch app on a cell phone. They have added a 7 peso fee for paying a bill this way but it works. The app for IOS and Android will notify you of a new bill and a send a reminder when it's due. ComputerGuy
Imagine a world where businesses add a fee to your bill so they can work less and make more. Brilliant.
