dichosalocura
Our Telmex internet seems to be down, is anybody experiencing this? We live near the Coppel area of Chapala.
Willie
We are just behind Telmex in Ajijic and experienced problems about the time you posted...all seems to be okay now.
oasiscloud
Yes, they seem to be having problems. I'm in Riberas and my Telmex is not working. The lights on my modem show that I'm connected to the internet, but can't connect to any site. They must be having some kind of routing or DNS problem. johanson
Yes I talked to folks in San Juan Cosala who were also having trouble as was I in upper Ajijic with our internet connections. And yes my modem light said that I had connectivity when I did not.
dichosalocura
Our's is still down as of 5 pm. I'm glad we have telecable as a back up. At first we thought it might be the router, but if others are having problems I guess its the internet and hopefully it will be back tonight or tomorrow. ComputerGuy
Very slow in Villa Nova and San Antonio, and older Huawei modem losing its grip: DSL and Internet lights on, but nothing coming through. A much new dual-band modem working well in the same location. Those older Huawei's have exhibited this kind of behaviour before. If a cell phone won't connect to the same modem, then for sure there is a problem. BUT it is not widespread: here in Riberas, and in Chula Vista, working, although very slow in the upper streets of lower Chula Vista.
John Shrall
I'm getting higher than normal Telmex speeds in Las Salvias at 6pm (6.5/.60) but the symptoms being described match exactly to what was happening with Telecable yesterday afternoon and evening. Modem lights flashing normally but no Internet.
oasiscloud
Lights still on but no internet in lower RIberas below Mirasol.
johanson
Things working again here in upper Ajijic above Las Salvias. Shown here is what I am getting perhaps just slightly slower than normal
barcelonaman
That was weird. some sites ok. others nothing. all lights on new modem working. all ok for me now.
Ferret
At the moment in lower Riberas, it's back. At least when there are no lights on the modem, you know there's a problem. When the lights are on and nobody's home?...that's enough to drive us up the wall and start to question our own sanity.
johanson
My Telmex Infinitum just went down again. I'm now on my Telecable backup connection. Let's see what the speed is Remember Telecable is now owned by IZZI and won't give me any faster speed than shown below
ComputerGuy
Lower La Floresta reports an outage for most of the day, but back on now.
