Needlepushers keep busy

Needlepushers distributed hand knit sweaters to 115 kindergarteners in Chapala recently.  Members are working hard to create more sweaters to give to children before the winter cold hits the ribera.

Other Needlepushers are busy sewing dresses and vests to give to children before Easter in the spring.  The goal is to outfit 200 girls and 200 boys with some seasonal finery at that time.

Needlepushers is always in need of cash donations as well as donated yarn, fabric and notions to continue this work started in 1962.  Prospective members who can knit, crochet or sew are always invited to the meetings at 10:00 every Tuesday at the recently-acquired house to the south of the LCS grounds to learn more about the charitable work this group does.  For donations or more information call Susy at (376) 765-7318.
