ibarra
We have been buying Johnsonville Italian Sausage from Walmart since they opened Lakeside. Today, they told me it will no longer be available. Does anyone know where we can purchase Italian sausage locally?
Cronopio
The carniceria next to Super Lake usually has it.

Kyle
Two guys at the Tues. market make the best Italian sausage I have ever had. You must try it.
Stymie
The Deli on Colon in Ajijic has some very nice house-made Italian links, he makes the mild and the hot and they are both very good.
tomgates
Maybe, just maybe WM will start carrying the JV brats instead of the Italian!
HarryB
we need to tell them we want both!
ComputerGuy
You can get a two-pack of Johnsonville Polish sausages at CostCo for $101.79p.
pappysmarket
Yes I buy them all the time but they are hotdogs not sausage.
ComputerGuy
Not hardly. Maybe not the kind of sausage you are looking for, but not weiners. If you can live with Johnsonville Italian, you can live with their Polish. Meanwhile, there are a couple of guys who make sausage that they sell at SuperLake. pappysmarket
OK, what I buy are the JV salchichas six to a package, labeled Polaco. Two packages scotch taped together. They are definitely hotdogs, fully cooked and nothing like the raw Italian sausage that they also sell. I'll look for what you are describing. Gracias
ComputerGuy
You are so right: they are nothing like the Italian. I would not say they are weiners, expecially compared to something like Kirkland's All Beef, but I can see where that impression comes from. I retract my statement about "living with it", especially now that I've looked at my own pack in the freezer. Sorry. When you want Italian, uncooked, this Polish (and it ain't really Polish) won't cut it.
HarryB
damned right! It seems no one here can even copy a half decent Italian sausage!
liquipure
A meat guy at Walmart told me JV Italian & breakfast should be back in a week or 2. I'll keep watching. Meanwhile I got some at Tony's and it worked in my recipe
