Mexican Reaction to Bob Dylan's Nobel Prize

Let's give Bob Dylan the credit to which he is entitled. To think that he is either unknown or irrelevant to Mexico is just plain wrong. For instance, the Mexican press gave extensive coverage to his recent award of the Nobel Prize in Literature. Here are just two examples of that coverage, one expresses the opinions of five Mexican writers about whether he was deserving of the award which appeared in Aristegui Noticias and the other a guest commentary by famed Mexican rock and roller Alex Lora that was published in El Universal.

And, on a personal note, I actually learned of the award by seeing the news posted by one of my Mexican friends on Facebook. Let's not short-change Bob Dylan. Yes, he is well known and well respected throughout the world, including Mexico.
