Kiko
Tonys fried chicken joint in Ajijic has opened up in Jocotepec and it open everyday 10-4 except Wednesdays. Great menu, friendly staff, and food. On Hidalgo a couple of blocks South of the Plaza on your right.
artsnob
Where is Tonys fried chicken place in Ajijic, I live here and do not know about it
pepez
i'm guessing Kiko is talking about the place next door to Deli 8 just east of Paz and Superlake in San Antonio. Kiko, i was just on Hidalgo in Joco a few days ago and didn't notice a new place. Guess i need to look for it. Love the salads at Tony's fried chicken! Thanks for the info. Kiko
Yes that is the Tony´s place in Ajijic I referenced. If you are coming into Joco East from San Juan Cosala on Miguel Arana and turn onto Hidalgo at the end of the plaza, then about two blocks South it will be on your right Hidalgo Sur 142. If you hit the new OXXO, then you passed it. Big sign overhead.
sunnyvmx
Will they have the slabs of ribs? I may go today and check it out. I need to find the Italika scooter shop too.
Fred Habacht
Scooter shop is right across from Marina's Hotel and Ruben's Grill....just after the by pass entrance.
sunnyvmx
Thank you, I'll look into that one. The one I was looking for is an Italika shop, but I've had my scoot since 2011 so a generic one would be fine. My Italika has never needed anything but tune ups, oil change and new battery. This time I'll have the brakes checked too. I would love them to take the squeeks out that the cobblestones created, but that's like hoping for World Peace. Fred Habacht
The one with the actual name Italika is now a little more difficult as we are getting a new road where they are. You take the road out of town butv at Indepecia the road is ripped out...you would have to ask to be allowed to go thru the barrier to get to the "co" store
