desertdave
Dropped and cracked glass on my cellphone. I have the replacement glass and bezel. Does anyone know who can change the glass for me. I looked it up on the internet and the DIY instructions are quite complicated. Thanks.
kbleitch
This happened to me with an iPhone 4 while I was visiting NOB two years ago. My son had replaced multiple iPhone screens successfully, so I just ordered the screen from Amazon while up there; it was maybe $7-8. He replaced it and then the phone would not power on. I'm thinking it was a defective screen. Came home, phone stayed in closet for two years. I recently decided to see about getting it fixed. Took it to the small TelCel distributor shop just inside Plaza Bugambilias in Ajijic, first floor, on the right, just inside the entrance. I left the phone, they called me in a couple of days with an estimate, I approved it and the phone was ready in 4-5 days. Cost was 650 pesos. The proprietor of the shop is Silvia Peinado, cell 33-3140-9873. She works M, W, Th, F and her employee Blanca is there on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Open hours are 10-5, M-F and until 3 on Saturday, I believe. I think Silvia may speak some English, not sure, as I speak Spanish.
TelsZ4
If I was going to get a cell phone repaired I would take it to the Telcel store just down from the old casino. Across from the parking garage of the Bugambilias plaza.

They might all go to the same guy(s)!
TelsZ4
I did not have good luck with the store in the plaza..
El Saltos
Take it to Ana at the little Telcel store next to Alex's Pasta Bar. She and her husband own 3 Telcel tiendas and they can get any brand serviced or repaired.
Rich S
Ana is good. I recommend the Telcel store kitty corner from Coppel in Chapala A lot of repairs are done by people in San Juan de Dios just south of Plaza Tapatia in Guad. I've taken several types of electronics there over the past 15 years with good success. Most electronics I do myself including phones. I only repair for myself and very close friends. RickS
OK... this is going to be kind of tricky and maybe confusing. I see that we have a 'newbie' amongst us. Goes by the name of Rich S. I've been around for quite a while and go by the name RickS. Hopefully if he/she Posts something you have an issue with, you won't think it's me...... and visa versa I suppose!!! Corner of Av 16 Septiembre and Av Juarez Parking across street next to Sanborns on the east side on 16 Sept Have fun
