May I get an update on pulmonologists you have had good results with?  I have a persistent cough problem just can't seem to shake it.

Some years ago a doctor thought I might have early COPD.  Whenever I get a cold it takes month to get over the coughing.  This time was the worst even though the cold was very mild.

Sometimes a persistent cough is caused by gastro problem =G ERD. I had for many years, never heartburn. Just a stupid persistent dry cough. The stomach acids come up and trigger a cough nerve. Sometimes productive because there is a lot of mucus where digestion hits the road until you know where.

Certain high blood pressure meds will also cause a dry hack that goes away almost immediately upon changing med. I can start long after one starts that med.  Been there done that.

Just an FYI The generic brand doesn't cause a cough, at least for me.

After you've seen the rest, you might want to consult with the best!

Dr Rafael Rodriguez practices in Guadalajara and in San Antonio, Texas.(you can google him)

He is hailed as one of the best COPD specialists in Mexico and Texas.  Will answer your emails too!

Phone 333  642 1083

I highly recommend Dr. Rafael Rodriguez Blanco.  He was my pulmonologist when I had a massive lung infection about 7 or 8 years ago.  He practiced in Guadalajara and is on staff at the University of Texas-San Antonio.  Excellent doctor.
