eDirectoryMx
How can I get license plates for an ATV purchased here in Mexico? I went to the license bureau, and they want a title for the ATV, but ATV's are not issued titles. I have the original factura, and a bill of sale from the person I bought it from. AlanMexicali
Here "facturas" for vehicles are what the US calls "titles."
Mainecoons
You should be able to take the Factura in, it should have been signed over to you by the seller. That is all I have needed when putting plates on Mexican motos that currently have Jalisco plates. If the vehicle is from out of state they may want you to take it in for inspection. I don't know if they do this with anything other than cars and trucks.
ibbocat
Appears to be something of a black art!! They will want back tax from the original purchase date. They will also need to inspect it, all appointments are for 7:00 in Tonala. Hope your Spanish is good!!
