virgogirl
Back in 2013 there was a project being started where moringa, a very medicinal plant, was being cultivated around the lake to help support locals to have a cash crop. Does anyone have an update on it? I drink moringa tea now. It was very informative to know of everything it is good for.

Zeb
I purchased Moringa leaves in Chapala, right by the bus stop a few doors down from Romana's (dress maker shop).

CHILLIN
Did they ever grow any out to be the long green bean things called Drumstick. Big market in Vancouver and Toronto. Here is some pricing from India. http://www.infodriveindia.com/india-export-data/drumstick-export-data.aspx I don't know the retail price in Vancouver or where they come from now. Contact the Mexican Trade Commission in Vancouver, they will do the research and maybe suggest some names. There is a business there called Mexicana Reefer Service that greatly confused me in my youth. Until I found out the Reefer was a refrigerated truck! Shira
The Moringa Mamas are very careful about the quality of the leaves they harvest. If they are not top quality they are not brought to market.
