All said and done my visa will be expired by then. Is there a penalty for flying with an expired visa? I will also need to drive back within a week or so and get my stuff. Sonia Posted June 24, 2016 Report Share Posted June 24, 2016 Should ask notario how it will affect your tax status. It appears on day of closing you will be a tourist. When leaving they may fine you as they may consider you a tourist with no FMM. I would arrive early at airport.
