Several of us Canadians have told our Mexican friends that we are hosers so they have stopped calling us gringos and use that instead.

Hmm,the most common definitions of a hoser are dimwit, loser and boorish..

I recognize him, too. He's a "Proud Hoser".

And going all the way back, this thread started with the, "Can I wave a USA Flag during a parade in Mexico?" question. That's Troll Junk right out of the gate, IMO.

I am Canadian, if I'm in Newfoundland I'm a Mainlander. If in the Yukon or NWT I'm an Outsider If I'm in Western Canada I'm an Easterner. All of you chime-in on the many others. It really is all about context & perspective.

As for canoes, the saying goes that only Canadians can make love in a canoe, or maybe silly enough to try, never mind the resulting pain & agony. As pointed out Off Topic!

Yeah many of us know ned small, formerly known as Pedro,he's been banned on every forum he's ever posted on,including this one and even one run by a fellow Canadian.

And he definetely fits the definitions of hoser that I listed.

And just to clarify,I never criticize Canadians until they start dissing Americans.

That center thwart was always a great inconvenience, but since I have Native-American, Canadian, US, Scots-Irish, Loyalist, Confederate and Yankee heritage, dealing with the uncertainties of life and loving in a canoe was never a major hindrance. The mosquitoes were!

Not certain, but I think he was even banned from his own forum.

Mr. P is not on any local forum under his or anyone else's name. It's been well established on this forum e.g : mtnmama made a post about meeting us both at the Cruz Roja polar bear swim. We are friends and both Albertans who both now live in Chapala. I am from Ponoka and he is from Millet but had know each other for several years in Canada. I showed him on my computer what you 2 have written and he was quite amused and not surprised as was I, so we toasted you both with some cheap Tequila. Edit: I forgot he is on the original forum for this area but doesn't post anything.

The original post was not ONLY about American flags at a parade, can not think of any reason a person would want to do this.  As for the thousands of Mexicans waving Mexican flags at various protest in the United States, I can not think of any reason to do that either.  What are they thinking????

The San Jose riot specifically was a "rent-a-mob" thing, half of them were thinking they'd get paid, and you know what the other half were thinking, that the US is going to throw open the borders and let them live fat dumb and happy on other people's money, such is the promise of socialism and the delusion of those who follow it. As has been said many times, the only problem with socialism is that at some point you run out of other people's money. Running around waving the MXN flag isn't a good idea NOB, it probably hurts their cause more than it helps.
