We fell in love with Lakeside and it's people. However agents will not talk to us until November. We very much want to spend the winter here.

As a retired couple we ate looking for a 2 bedroom plus, 2 bath, spacious, well maintained, nicely furnished CLEAN home.

Outdoor space very important. Lap pool, but not required.

Kitchen with clean stocked amieties.Comfortable seating.

Non Smoking.

We have a 9 lb short haired SERVICE dog.

Area from Racquet Club to San Antonio. Price depending on quality and location. $1000. US and up.

We would like to enjoy Lakeside December thru April. Thank you for your consideration.

'High' seaon starts in October. If you can, come down for a bit, before that, stay at a B&B, or hotel, and check out the bulletin boards at Superlake, El Torito, and LCS. You should have no trouble finding something, even for less than your budget. Your money will go further if you rent directly, as the agencies often get a percentage of each months rent for administration. It is often just as fast to find a direct rental, than to go through an agency. Plus, you meet the landlord, and they meet you, so you are communicating directly with each other.

The last few years, there were still some nice rentals, that were not rented out, all the way through high season. Sometimes, the owners of houses for sale, will be happy to rent them out in the meantime while they are waiting to sell.

There are myriad other venues in which to find and secure rentals prior to 30 days typical at the agencies.  AirBnb and VRBO have a large number of listings, always negotiate, do not consider the listed price point the final price.  Craigslist Guadalajara, many of the Facebook pages associated with the area and several blogs also have listings or people who know of properties.  Someone who wants to commit at this time of year is an excellent candidate.  Good luck.
