Frijoles
If I sell my Mexican car, what is the best way to get the money into my Canadian bank account? I don't have a Mexican bank account. The car would probably sell for around 80,000 pesos. Thanks in advance.

Mainecoons
Check with Intercam. They might be able to convert to Canadian for you and then just take it with you. Check with your own bank. They may be able to exchange for you. Also, there might be a local Canadian who will do the deal for you for a little inducement in the exchange rate. Smart of you to figure this out in advance! mudgirl
People have asked on other threads to what advantage having a Mexican bank account would be if you live here. This would be one advantage. Just as people transfer $ from their NOB bank accounts to their Mexican accts through xetrade, Western Union, or xoom, you can do the same thing in reverse- essentially exchanging pesos for Canadian dollars online and having it deposited in your Canadian account. Probably not worth it for you, as this is a one-off car sale, but just saying.
