You can't control it if you can't measure it...a Kill-a-watt meter is a good means to quantify the usage of each appliance. The refrigerator is usually the biggest culprit, however it is necessary and can't be turned off or lowered.

I never said I was on DAC Alan. Only had this meter for six months.
