Mainecoons
As long as the mid and upper level winds continue to move from the southwest, we are not in the rainy season. What we are seeing are some showers resulting from El Niño currents that have the ocean to the SW of us warmer than normal, hence more moisture is given off and picked up by the winds. My reading indicates a concern that the strong El Niño and SW air flow will retard the onset of the easterlies needed to produce our real rainy season.
