Jasmine, great location but very few customers.............

the space is huge, the main room is 100ft long, a large open kitchen and a large garden seating area....everyone could use more customers this year, a lot of our Canadian buddies never made it back this season.  we are the only Indian restaurant lakeside and have a basic vegan menu with traditional chicken, lamb and shrimp dishes available.  we make our own chutneys, naan and samosas, everything from scratch. we are getting more repeat business from Mexican clients and people from Guadalajara including Indians who work there. for our vegan friends it's a place where they can dine with their omnivorous friends. our main interest, for over 40 years has been North Indian Classical music and we have an extensive recorded library and live performances.Jasmine's is located on the southside of the Ajijic plaza, open thursday to sunday 12-8pm.

we don't know what you're getting at, glyn. we have plenty of fresh food prepared and by sunday night it's all gone...have you even eaten here? not that we need your approval,we have plenty of satisfied customers who depend on us for their indian food fix. not everyone is a meat and potato guy, but why knock it if you haven't tried it?

thanks for all your nice comments, sometimes it's disheartening to have to defend oneself from unknown persons....all each of us can do is to do our very best at whatever moves us.  we have been very fortunate to make so many new friends and acquaintances through our restaurant ,to have such great employees and to have a place for performaces by students and masters.always happy to make new friends, so come and say 'hola'.
