stoneleigh
We're planning a trip to Paris later this summer and want to rent a small apartment in 7th arr. I've been searching the web, then thought maybe someone local might have a personal suggestion or experience.

Lulugirl
Reputable Rental Company Airbnb is another good site where owners post their places. I would NOT recommend Homeaway after a terrible experience with them. There's also VRBO VRBO Paris 7th Arrondissement

stoneleigh
Mainly the Rodin, The Dorsay and Rue Cler - plus the parks.
bmh
I like the St Germain quartier but do not care for the rest. Do not forget to go to the Branly Museum..Paris proper is not that big so you can cover a lot of territoty on foot.. Have fun.

Lulugirl
You're correct about that now. A tip-off is if there are NO bad reviews except very minor things. You'll find really negative reviews on Airbnb but they're not allowed on Home Away. Worth checking to see if that policy is still going on on VRBO. HomeAway hasn't owned it that long. More Liana
I liked this website a lot: parisautrement.com. The apartment I rented from them was wonderful. The page is all short-term vacation rentals.
cstone
I have used VRBO extensively in Europe. Also, places like Hotels.com have an apartment section.
