Sueandmike7752
We are renting and hear dozens NO I mean dozens and dozens, of dogs below us yelping. These are stress or hurt yelps. They are in a fully walled Mexican compound in West Ajijic. Any time day or night the yelping makes me believe, puppy mill, dog fighting, bait dogs for the real fighting dogs???? I do not know. I do not know what as a short term renter I can do. What are the legalities. Are there agencies that will check it out...Contacts?
Cookie
You might try contacting one of the dog rescues. Not to rescue so much as to find out who to call.

Cookie
If the dogs are indeed being hurt... that's a whole different ball game.
Lulugirl
There's a pinned post in the "Let's Talk About Our Furry Friends" forum on this site that tells whom to contact.

jakes
You can call Raphael at Ecologia. They are the ones that will check out animals that are being mistreated. The number is 765-8000. Good luck.
Shelley Ronnfeldt
Yes, either contact Ecologica or if all else fails, call the police. Keep trying.
