Plumeau1
Hi all... When you return with your vehicle back NOB do you have to leave at the same port of entry into Mexico ? And you just have to give back your vehicle permit sticker to Banjercito to get your credit back ? Finally good Super Bowl and commercials!!! Yo1
No, you can cross anywhere. You must return your sticker to Aduana to get your refund. DO NOT remove the sticker yourself; wait until you are at the Aduana kiosk and follow their directions.

RickS
At most border crossings you will turn your TIP in somewhere (26km-ish) before the actual border. Also turn in your Tourist Card or check out with your Temporal. Also, you MUST have the original paperwork (to which the TIP sticker was attached) in order to cancel the permit and thus get your deposit back. If the deposit was paid with a credit card, my experience is that the refund will be back on your card within 3-4 business days.
