giltner68
No, not our Canuck friends - exactly, but rather the true Canadian SnowBirds, the white pelicans. This morning I looked up and circling overhead were about 30-40 white pelicans. I'm only a quarter mile from Lake Buchanan here in central Texas and they stop here on their way south to Lake Chapala for the Winter. So, you can count on them to arrive soon. They'd be welcome to remain here except the Bald Eagles Winter here at the lake and even the buzzards move back off the lake when they arrive, no one fools with the eagles. El Saltos
They've been here for a while. They usually start arriving around the 1st of November. I'm always happy to see them. They're amazing birds!
