I have questions and apologize if this has been covered previously. 1. Do we need to apply from the US or can we apply from here? 2. Can we obtain the necessary application papers here, even if we choose to/have to apply in the US? Thank any and all for you advice and help. If you have some pension income, you can apply for Permante anytime, but since you just paid for your Temporal, you may as well wait until next year. That money will not be refunded. Sonia Posted November 13, 2015 Report Share Posted November 13, 2015 As Spencer noted to apply in less than 4 years only pension sourced income is considered (OAS, CPP, SS, employer pensions) and not investments. Financial translations also required which he can do. Note all government offices are closed Monday. Also INM will be closed starting Dec 18 and re-opening Jan 4. Happy Shopping with 4 days of sales.
