MyHomeSweetHome
Non-retired: Has anyone done this recently and could you share your experience? Length of time, when you had to take the test? Yes, I'm stressed about the test because I'm not a test person and would just like to know about when in the process the exam is given. ibarra
If you are 60 or older no test is required. My husband did the whole process (without a lawyer) a little over a year ago. If you want more info, please pm me.
MyHomeSweetHome
We aren't retired, nor near 60, we are taking the test. I want to know when in the process the test is taken?
Apoco
I want to know when in the process the test is taken? My best guess, knowing what I do, is the test is given after all the fees are paid.
snowyco
Our Notario submitted application documents to SRE for inspection, and they then had me get both the state police report and national police report. On my next visit to SRE, when we submitted the formal documents (police reports, documentation of travel in and out of Mexico etc), and they gave me the written test: 5 questions out of the 100. Sent you a PM.
MyHomeSweetHome
How long ago did you go through this snowy? Thank you for commenting. Didn't you travel to Mexico City, D.F. for your criminal background report? When you turned in your paper work immediately, that same day you had to take the test? You took your test in Guadalajara then?
