ryanv
I haven't been able to find an official age requirement for either of the residence visas. Is it possible for someone in their early 30s to qualify for either visa through the standard financial independence bank account requirements? I haven't been able to find a case where someone has tried.
RVGRINGO
I know of no age restrictions. If you qualify financially you could apply.
Indianamom
I had my temporal and first received it when it was a FM3 and I was 36. My daughter was an add to mine and she was 7 at the time. I know many younger expats with both types of visas.

Intercasa
Temp no problem, permanente within Mexico can be tough if you dont receive a pension although if you apply outside Mexico I have seen people in their 30s get permanente.
