Floradude
Back on the 3rd of July the Lake Chapala Weather Net reported the lake level at 93.84 M. Now they are reporting the lake at 94.84 M. That is one meter (39 inches) of gain in depth which is a whole lot of water. There is a way to calculate how many zillion liters (or gallons) of water that is, but someone else will have to report that. Thank you El Niño............. El Bizco
I'm really pleased to see this gain, but the water is just now reaching the SJC malecon. In 2010 the water was half way up the wall. It's sad and absurd to see all the malecones standing inland so far from the water, and despicable that authorities let the lake get this way. Despite all the water this year, the lake is still below 60% full.
